Having only just returned from African Cup of Nations duty – a tournament in which Ivory Coast won – Manchester City find themselves without their talismanic midfielder, Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian was deemed to be a huge loss during his time away on international duty with the Citizens form nothing short of awful as they lost ground on league leaders Chelsea (ground they’ve started to make back since Yaya’s return).
Toure’s return to the City fold was short lived, though, as the 31-year-old is serving a ban and will therefore miss tonight’s clash against his former side Barcelona.
Will Manuel Pellegrini’s chosen XI have enough to prevent the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi running riot? Will the absence of Yaya Toure in the middle of the park mean Iniesta will have nothing short of a field day? Or perhaps Fernando will realise how to be a footballer?
Let’s ask Twitter to find out…
Thought City would qualify, can’t see it happening with that starting XI. No Toure and two upfront.

No Yaya Toure for Man City tonight, they are going to get destroyed…

Obviously the Toure absence is massive. No one in that pivot that can provide that burst of energy and carry it through midfield.

No Yaya Toure tonight is a huge blow to Man City, will have to overcome his absence and play well to beat Barca!

No Toure confirms my money is going on Barcelona.

I’m more interested by the Juve/Dortmund match than ManCity/Barca matchup. No Yaya Toure, Barcelona at home should smash City easily.

City are pretty hopeless without Yaya Toure. A struggle tonight I reckon.
