It seemed like it was going to be of those games for Tottenham Hotspur when Chelsea took the lead against the run of play with suggestions that a) Eden Hazard hadn’t kept the ball in play and b) Diego Costa was offside. However, credit to Mauricio Pochettino’s side they weathered a bit of storm and got themselves level thanks to a beauty from Harry Kane.
The Lilywhites kicked on from Kane’s sixth Premier League goal of the season, with a quickfire double from Danny Rose and then an Andros Townsend penalty on the stroke of half-time to send White Hart Lane into dreamland!
It will be a welcome sight for England gaffer Roy Hodgson with three Englishman on the scoresheet – with Kane in particular impressing against Chelsea.
Football is coming home and we are going to win the World Cup! Or something like that…
Kane, Rose and Townsend. 3 young English players.
