For a while now we at FootballFanCast have been telling you we’ve had a plan up our collective sleeve for our crowd source team, and this week it has kicked in. The guys over at FantasyYIRMA have agreed to step in and make some big calls for us as the fixture list begins to swell around Christmas. Early festive spirit, some would say!
And we couldn’t have predicted such a bombshell to announce their arrival, with Jamie Vardy AXED despite being the second highest scorer in the whole game! The logic behind this call? Getting Sergio Aguero back. We have taken the advice and plopped the Argentine into the 15, but to raise funds Eden Hazard must go, leaving us with £6.4m to spend on a replacement.
You know the drill by now… Read and VOTE by midday on Friday!
Manuel Lanzini – Few were expecting the level of performance the Argentine has put forward since joining West Ham on loan from Al-Jazira over the summer, but with a return of 52 points makes him the joint most effective midfielder available within our £6.4m budget. With Dimitri Payet out injured until the New Year, ‘The Jewel’ could be set to sparkle…
Marko Arnautovic – Equal with Manuel Lanzini on 52 points, the Stoke attacker is an equally tempting option, albeit at £6.0m (£0.6m more than the Hammers ace) he’s not the cheapest available. The Serbian can be frustrating, but he’s a goalscorer and a leaky Sunderland defence will be at the Britannia Stadium this weekend.
Yannick Bolasie – Pace, power and a goalscoring touch, Bolasie is a threat. He’s even been, albeit occasionally, used as a centre-forward by Alan Pardew this season, making him a potential high point-scorer
James Morrison – Not a fashionable choice, but the Scottish midfielder is West Brom’s joint top scorer and assist-maker in league action this term with three and two respectively.
Gerard Deulofeu – A resurgent Everton side has forced Deulofeu back onto fantasy managers’ hit-list, and at £6.3m he could be one to get before his price rises further. He has five assists in just 515 minutes of league action.
