When it comes to WAGs, Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe is as prolific off the pitch as he is on it. The Spurs star has worked through his fair share of WAGs during his time as a footballer, from Chantelle Houghton and Charlotte Mears to Danielle Lloyd and Imogen Thomas. However, Defoe has now slightly moved away from reality stars and bagged himself a pop star.
In some ways Alexandra Burke is a reality star, having won The X Factor in 2008, but since then she’s made her mark on the charts. The 23-year-old secured a Christmas number one with her first single, Hallelujah, and ten months later reached the top of the UK album chart with her debut Overcome. To date Burke has three number ones as a solo artist and has even returned to the TV programme that made her, The X Factor, as a guest judge.
Burke is well known for her single ‘Bad Boys’, but Defoe has proved himself to be anything but in recent weeks.
