UEFA announced their Team of the Year last week and there weren’t any real surprises – other than the fact Harry Kane was overlooked despite scoring more goals in 2017 than anyone else in Europe.
Other than that, it was as expected as Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne are picked as the Premier League’s representatives in a star studded XI that also includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Luka Modric and Dani Alves.
But are they any good when actually playing together in the same team? Can they change the fortunes of little ol’ San Marino and fire them to glory on the international stage?
We booted up Football Manager 2018 to find out – have a watch of the video above to see how they got on.
