Watford v Man United – Confirmed starting XIs

Watford entertain Manchester United at Vicarage Road as club football makes a much anticipated return following the international break.

Quique Sanchez Flores’ will be looking to bounce back after his side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Leicester last time out, and a surprise win over United could see them climb as high as eight if they can win by a healthy goal margin.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will have to do without Anthony Martial, who left Wembley on crutches following France’s 2-0 friendly defeat to England in mid-week, and with Wayne Rooney injured as well we should see Memphis Depay reclaim his place in the starting XI.

Ashely Young makes his first return to Vicarage Road since leaving Watford for Aston Villa in 2007.

United could top the table with victory today, if only for a few hours as Man City host Liverpool and Arsenal travel to West Brom.

Here’s the confirmed starting line-ups for both sides ahead of today’s early kick-off at Vicarage Road…
