Roy Hodgson

This Black Country derby between the two Premier League strugglers looks an extremely close one to call. All eyes will be on Roy Hodgson, enjoying his first game as manager of the Baggies after a less than successful stint at Liverpool and the two clubs are currently separated by just 3 points in the league.

This looks to be an open game on paper between a side which boasts the worst defensive record in the league - with West Brom having conceded 52 league goals so far this campaign -  and a side that struggles to put the ball in the net - with Wolves having the second most profligate strike force in the league with just 26 league goals to their name this season.

Both are also in shoddy form with West Brom having only taken a shocking 12 points from their last 17 matches, form which saw the likeable Roberto Di Matteo depart as manager to be replaced by Hodgson. Wolves have lost 4 of their last 5 league games, with their only victory coming over league leaders Man Utd. West Brom may just edge it, with the home side’s players seeking to impress their new manager while simultaneously putting last game’s second half capitulation to West Ham behind them.

Prediction: West Brom 2-1 Wolves
