Saido Berahino is likely to leave West Brom this summer if bids of between £25m – £30m are lodged, according to his team-mate Ben Foster.
The Baggies striker’s impressive 2014/15 campaign so far has attracted both Liverpool and Spurs, whose interest has been piqued by recent comments from the player surrounding his future.
Berahino himself has suggested that he’s ready to leave the Midlands club for “bigger things” during the next transfer window, and that West Brom fans will not begrudge him such a deal.
Although the Hawthorns club are keen to keep their man despite his antics, Foster feels that mega bids will be too good to turn down:
“Without doubt I do (want him to stay) but I completely understand if a team is going to come in with a £25-30million bid, there’s not a lot you are going to do about that,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
“As long as he keeps working his socks off and doing the business for us, I don’t think anyone would begrudge him a big move like that.
“It is only going to benefit the club, a lot more money for us to invest into other players as well.”
The 21-year-old has already notched 15 goals this season and has earned a first call-up to the England senior side, although he didn’t make it onto the pitch for his first cap.
