West Brom’s fourth win in five matches has handed them a comfortable nine-point margin from the burden of the playoffs at the top of the Championship table.
The Baggies thumped fellow promotion hopefuls Bristol City 3-0 at Ashton Gate, even despite going down to ten men in the second half as Romaine Sawyers received his marching orders.
Hal Robson-Kanu was in electric form, bagging a brace – first, slotting home a simple tap-in before rounding off the victory with a fine left-footed volley.
Following the match, January addition Lee Peltier – who is yet to feature or be named in a matchday squad for Albion – commented on the 30-year-old’s form on Twitter. He said:

It’s the Welshman’s ninth goal of the season but the first time in eight matches he has found the net in the Championship, per Transfermarkt.
Slaven Bilic has put a lot of faith in Robson-Kanu to lead the line over summer signings Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore in recent games, and that’s been repaid with today’s performance.
