West Ham and Fulham enter race for Swede

Jiloan Hamad (Malmo)West Ham, Fulham and Norwich are all set to firm up their interest in Malmo winger Jiloan Hamad, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The Swedish international’s contract is set to expire in January, which will leave him free to join any side without a transfer fee having to be paid.

West Ham, Norwich and Fulham have all been linked with a move for his signature for some time, and are now ready to up their interest amid rumours that Bundesliga sides are discussing deals with the wide-man.

The likes of Borussia Monchengladbach, Freiburg, Hannover and Hoffenheim are all ready to present Hamad with a contract, which may be enough to convince him to opt against a move to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of Swedish football’s top talents, and is currently on the verge of securing the league title for Malmo – whom he captains.

Despite this, he is ready to move on and has declared that either the Premier League or German top tier would suit his level of ambition.

The English trio could firm up their interest in the coming weeks in a bid to force Hamad to reject interest from clubs across Europe.

Should Fulham, West Ham or Norwich move for Jiloan Hamad?
