The 27-cap Brazil international has been back in his homeland since 2013 after he signed for Corinthians, and spent last season on loan at Sao Paolo.
Once rated as one of Brazil’s finest young talents, Pato’s career has been decimated by injury issues – a major factor his move away from AC Milan two years ago.
However, despite being a well-known player across the globe, the striker is still just 25-years-old and is eager to chance his arm in English football as he looks to rebuild his career.
A ‘mid-level’ Premier League side is seen as the player’s aim, which has opened the door, according to reports, for West Ham and Palace, who are both interested in bolstering their options in the final third.
Pato – whose name translates as ‘duck’ in Portuguese – signed for Milan as a 17-year-old and scored 51 league goals in 117 outings over five years.
Although a move would be seen as a risk given his fitness concerns, Pato would be a big name coup for either London side.
