Alvaro Arbeloa has made it clear that he is not the biggest fan of Slaven Bilic following the Croatian’s departure as West Ham United manager.
The East London outfit announced on Monday that they had parted ways with the coach, who had overseen just two wins in 11 Premier League games.
Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Liverpool at the London Stadium was the final straw, and now the Hammers have ex-Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes at the helm.
Arbeloa is familiar with Bilic’s management given that he spent last season at the club, but it was not a successful spell for the former Real Madrid man.
The full-back made just three league appearances, and only one of them was a start.
In total, the Spaniard had just four outings in all competitions before deciding to retire in June at the age of 34.
Judging by Arbeloa’s reaction to the end of Bilic’s two-and-a-half-year stint at West Ham, the ex-Liverpool player was not exactly distraught.
