West Ham United manager David Moyes has reportedly been told by the club's hierarchy that he is free to sell any players that he does not want.

The Mirror reports that Marko Arnautovic could be one of the players that gets the chop when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Austrian was part of an exciting summer for the Hammers as the club recruited a handful of experienced Premier League players.

Arnautovic came from Stoke City for £25m, while Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta and former Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez also came through the welcome gates at the London Stadium.

The attacking player has struggled to impress at the Hammers, and he did not get off to the best start as he was sent off in just his second game for the club.

The 28-year-old has started five Premier League games and has come off the bench in a further two.

In that time, the ex-Stoke man has not registered one goal or an assists.

After news emerged that Arnautovic could be on the chopping block come January, fans gave their reactions on Twitter.
