Despite not yet playing a single minute of football this season – Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been linked by the Brentwood Gazette with a big money move to the highly ambitious West Ham United.
The central midfielder has failed to recover from an injury he picked up in pre-season which has ruled him out for the past seven months.
Despite his absence for the entire 2015/2016 campaign so far, England manager Roy Hodgson is still considering Wilshere in his Three Lions squad ahead of Euro 2016 in France in the summer. (What on earth is Hodgson thinking!)
The former Bolton Wanderers loanee – who has notched 12 goals in 154 appearances for the Gunners since 2008 – has, perhaps, had his future questioned simply because of his persistent problems on the treatment table.
Considering Wilshere is a known Hammers supporter and the East Londoners are on the lookout for stellar signing’s ahead of the much anticipated Olympic Stadium move in four months’ time – Maybe Wilshere could finally end his injury crisis under Slaven Bilic?
