West Ham’s co-owner David Gold took to Twitter this weekend to confirm some much anticipated news to the West Ham supporters.
Gold delivered some encouraging news to his struggling West Ham but the head doctor at the club is not so sure on Gold’s confirmation.
Croatian manager Slaven Bilic has seen his side suffer defeat five times in seven outings this season – resulting in just four points from a potential twenty-one available. The start is the Hammers’ worst start to a season since the 88/89 campaign.
In saying this, the loss of key players such as Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell have been devastating to the Hammers this season. New record signing Andre Ayew has played just 20 minutes before being ruled out for four months through injury.
West Ham will now travel to Crystal Palace after the international break before hosting Sunderland a week later. Gold has confirmed that by the time Sunderland come to London, he is hopeful of the club having a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time this season.

Stijn Vandenbroucke, the club’s head of science, has released an official injury update which was a lot less certain.
“Diafra is progressing well after a week on the training pitch running and working with the ball. He has to build up a lot of fitness after three months out, but the encouraging thing is that he has had no adverse reaction in his back to the hard work he has been putting in.
Diafra is working very hard and there is light at the end of the tunnel.” Stijn told the club’s official website.
“(Andre) will return to Rush Green at the weekend. He has been working very hard on the pitch and is ready for the next stage in the rehab, introducing the ball, passing, kicking and faster running.
“Andre will continue working on improving his fitness levels for the next few weeks before he will join controlled introduction sessions with the U23s.”
“Finally, Andy Carroll is continuing his rehab.”
