Experienced Prem star wants West Ham move

Tottenham outcast Emmanuel Adebayor wants West Ham to revive their January interest in his signature before the current transfer window closes, according to reports from ESPN.

The Togolese striker is believed to have been told that he has little future at White Hart Lane, with the North London club eager to offload him and remove his vast salary from their expenditure.

A switch to link up with former manager Tim Sherwood at Aston Villa has been widely mooted, but reports claim that ‘Ade’ is hopeful West Ham will come back in for him.

The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid hit-man came close to joining the Irons in January, only to see a proposed loan switch vetoed by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

There remains a possibility of West Ham turning to Adebayor, with Slaven Bilic having lost Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia to long-term injuries.
