West Ham United may have only lost 2-0 against Manchester City on Wednesday, having been thrashed 5-0 by the same opposition on the opening day, but fans were still not happy.

That is because of the pathetic nature of the team's performance as they sat back and watched on as City passed the ball around them. The Hammers had just 22.7% of the game's overall possession.

It's after watching the woeful display at the Etihad that Dave Walker suggested that David Moyes should be sacked.

There are plenty of fans who agree with him, as one commented "there is a reason he was out of work last time we sacked him", while another suggested the Scotsman is "as bad if not worse than Grant & Roeder".

He has now had nine games at West Ham and having won his first two - against AFC Bournemouth and Gillingham - victory has not been tasted at any point.

Who is that?! Nobody has been able to name the teams all of these obscure managers were once in charge of...

Including that 4-0 against the Cherries, Moyes has taken just five points from the seven league games that he has had as West Ham manager, and fans have had enough of him.

If this goes to show anything, it is just how ludicrous a decision it was from David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady to appoint him in the first place.

There has been no real plan since he came, and as Walker mentions in the original tweet, he does not know his best starting lineup, or even a formation to stick with - as signified by the fact he hasn't played the same formation in consecutive games since joining the club.

The warning signs were already there for the board to consider when looking at the man to replace Manuel Pellegrini, as he only averaged 1.16 points per game the first time, but has managed to outdo himself with the frustrating results this time around with just 0.63.

It can be argued it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that he hasn't progressed, as nobody else gave the 56-year-old a job after he was sacked by West Ham in 2018.

To bring him back to the club seemed like a massive blunder from GSB due to his poor record and the length of time that he had out since that spell ended - it is currently proving to be the case.

Moyes got away with it last time, as West Ham managed to stay in the Premier League, but it is looking increasingly likely that the club and manager may not be so lucky this time around.

Meanwhile, Sebastien Haller has spoken about what could help him kick on at West Ham.
