There has been plenty of speculation about West Ham United youngster Kai Corbett's situation in recent months. This started after The Athletic linked the teenager with a move to Bristol City, after he reportedly had a trial with the Championship outfit in January. It was included within the report that the Hammers were "expected to lose" the talented forward, whether that was to Bristol or one of the various Premier League clubs showing interest in him. There had then been what now appears to be a mix up around his future, as ExWHUemployee reported that the 17-year-old had permanently joined Manchester United.

This came after Corbett scored the only goal of the game in United U18s' 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers, during his 45 minutes on the pitch on 1st February.

Little has been heard about this since, but the player himself has now revealed that he will be staying with West Ham through his personal Twitter account, following positive meetings with the club.

Who on earth is that?!?! Can you name all of these obscure January signings?

The teenager will now be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Declan Rice, Jeremy Ngakia, Nathan Holland and Conor Coventry in earning first-team minutes, something all of the aforementioned academy graduates have done this season.
