Former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic was amongst the first managerial casualties of the season, sacked and replaced by David Moyes at the start of November after a humiliating defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

While nobody can doubt Bilic's passion for West Ham or his endearing personality, many would argue his departure was a long time coming. The Hammers just haven't been quite right since the end of the Croatian's first season in charge when he lead them to seventh place - and particularly since Dimitri Payet left the club under a dark cloud in January 2017.

Former Irons gaffer Harry Redknapp, however, believes not all aspects of the first team - namely transfers - were completely under Bilic's control and has also claimed the 49-year-old would have eventually turned his side's wayward form around.
