West Ham have endured a woeful start to their Premier League campaign under Manuel Pellegrini, losing all four of their opening matches.
The Hammers face another tough test on Saturday when they travel to Goodison Park to tackle Everton and then have a number of other stern challenges in the weeks ahead, as they clash with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
West Ham’s struggles come despite splashing over £100m on new recruits in the summer window and questions have already begun to be asked about whether Pellegrini is suited to the challenges he faces at the London Stadium.
While Karren Brady stated this week Pellegrini retains the faith of the board, that may have already proven to be the kiss of death for his time in East London and the pressure will continue to increase in the weeks ahead.
With their current performances and a daunting run of fixtures ahead, it looks extremely unlikely that Pellegrini will still be in his job come the January transfer window and it will see West Ham faced with another managerial turnover.
