Lucas Perez was one of nine new players that joined West Ham United during the summer transfer window.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini went to work quickly on shaping his own team after replacing David Moyes as manager.
Perez was a late arrival from Arsenal, where he struggled to earn a regular spot in the team over the course of a two-year spell.
In fact, the striker made just 21 appearances for the North London outfit, scoring seven goals and registering five assists.
Since moving to the London Stadium, the Spaniard has taken a backseat role again.
So far, Perez has featured in two of the club’s four Premier League matches, but both of those outings were from the substitutes bench.
The striker started the team’s 3-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Cup, but he did little to impress.
At the moment, West Ham are struggling in the top flight having recorded four straight defeats.
Even though Perez has not set the world alight when he has played, is it worth Pellegrini shaking things up and giving him a try?
