West Ham United have only picked up three wins from 13 matches, with their latest defeat coming at the hands of Manchester City.

Manuel Pellegrini would have expected not to get much luck against his former club, but they can get back on track with a showdown against Newcastle United this weekend.

Robert Snodgrass may not be the obvious choice to get the Hammers back to winning ways, but he has been impressive of late.

The Scotland international missed the game against City due to a one-match ban and is now eligible to face the Magpies at St James' Park.

It is unclear whether Pellegrini will stick with the 4-4-2 formation that resulted in a 4-0 loss to City or revert back to the 4-1-4-1 system.

So far this season, Snodgrass has made 15 appearances in all competitions and has scored two goals in that time.

Is he the right man to play against Newcastle?
