HYS: Where should Bilic strengthen in January?

It’s safe to say, it’s not been a particularly good season at West Ham.

The move to the London Stadium was meant to springboard the club into a new era, especially after some significant investment in the squad during the summer, but Slaven Bilic surprisingly finds his side on the fringes of the Premier League title race following a poor start to the campaign.

The Hammers have bounced back to an extent in recent weeks with four points taken off Liverpool and Burnley, but to guarantee their Premier League status for another year, the east London club appear obliged to splash the cash again when the transfer market reopens in January.

With that in mind, we’re keen to open the discussion to West Ham fans with a simple question; which area of the squad requires Bilic’s attention and the club’s investment most in January? There’s certainly plenty to choose from, with the Irons shipping goals at the back, struggling at the more glamorous end of the pitch and hardly convincing in the middle third.
