West Ham are closing in on Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski according to Sky Sports.

The former Arsenal shot-stopper joined the Swans in 2014 and the 33-year-old has gone on to make 149 league appearances since his move.

The Poland international played every game last season but couldn't prevent Swansea getting relegated to the Championship.

Now it appears West Ham's new boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bring the 'keeper to the London Stadium this summer to boost his options between the sticks.

The potential move threatens Adrian's position as West Ham no.1 after he took over from former England goalkeeper Joe Hart who was on loan from Manchester City.

West Ham fans appear divided on social media about whether Fabianski is an upgrade on Adrian, with some feeling the money would be better spent elsewhere.
