Arguably West Ham's most turbulent season ever in the Premier League now essentially boils down to their clash with Southampton on Saturday.

Win, and the Irons will create vital breathing space between themselves and the drop zone. Lose, and the Hammers are well and truly part of the relegation race for the final run-in.

As has been the case all season, one of the biggest selection calls is who to start in goal. Nobody can doubt the experience of Joe Hart, who Transfermarkt value at £10.8million, but his form has left much to be desired this term and he rather tellingly didn't feature for England during the international break - now seemingly behind Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford in the pecking order.

At West Ham this season too, the loan signing has often found himself benched in favour of Adrian. The 6 foot 3 Spaniard has been inconsistent at best as well, but for such an important occasion could produce a more committed performance than a player who probably won't be kept at the London Stadium on a permanent basis past this campaign.
