HYS: Will Pellegrini still be in charge of West Ham United by January?

West Ham United fans would have felt optimistic heading into the new season.

The club had a new manager at the helm in the form of Premier League-winning coach Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers also recruited nine new signings, including Jack Wilshere, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko.

Unfortunately, though, the positive summer has not translated onto the pitch as the club have had the worst start to the season compared to their peers.

West Ham have lost all four of their Premier League fixtures, with defeats coming against Liverpool, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

At the moment, the club are rooted to the bottom of the table as they are the only ones in the league not to pick up a point.

Of course, it is worth noting that the season is in its very early stages, but pressure is growing on Pellegrini’s shoulders.

The managerial merry-go-round has not hit the top flight just yet, but given how bad West Ham have started, it is no surprise that the Chilean’s job is coming under question.

Will the former Manchester City boss survive the season, or will the East London outfit be searching for a new leader come January?
