West Ham United have had a mixed bag of results since the season got underway.

Manuel Pellegrini's men currently sit 13th in the Premier League table following three wins, three draws and six defeats.

At the weekend, the Hammers rescued a point in a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town, and it was Felipe Anderson who nabbed the goal for the away side.

Marko Arnautovic is the main option to lead the line, and Pellegrini also has Javier Hernandez to call upon.

However, it seems that the former Manchester City boss is open to adding some more attacking strength.

According to The Sun, West Ham are one of a handful of clubs that would be interested in signing Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke if he became available.

The report claims that the Reds are open to send the 21-year-old on loan for the rest of the season due to his lack of minutes at Anfield.

Would this be a decent acquisition for West Ham, or would the young hitman struggle for game time?
