Enner Valencia’s first goal for West Ham against Hull last month was an absolute screamer.
It gave everyone a glimpse of what to expect from the 24-year-old Ecuadorian in the Premier League this season, although he’s yet to emulate such talent since whilst strike partner Diafra Sakho overshadows him by scoring all the goals.
And he’s been back in amongst it all whilst on international duty, scoring three goals in two games. He first one against the USA defied physics and then the second of his brace against El Salvador proved that he’s not all about long-range crackers.
He’s got some footwork and can finish from inside the box just as well as he can from outside. Burnley should be worried about facing this guy on Saturday…
