Jarrod Bowen is in line to make his West Ham United debut in Wednesday's Premier League clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The fact that their original clash with City was postponed due to bad weather means that the Hammers have not actually been in action since drawing 3-3 with Brighton & Hove Albion on February 1.

Bowen was not available for that match having only just arrived, but the former Hull City attacker could feature against the champions on Wednesday night.

Hammers boss David Moyes took questions on the 5 ft 9 attacker ahead of kickoff, and the manager's words have led some fans to believe that the new arrival will not be starting at the Etihad Stadium.

Others, meanwhile, have simply urged their manager to select the recent arrival in the starting XI against the reigning Premier League champions.

Bowen scored 17 times in 32 appearances for Hull in the first half of the 2019/20 campaign, including 16 in 29 Championship outings.

Meanwhile, a number of West Ham fans recently showed their fury at an announcement from the club.
