Andy Carroll has been urged to commit his future to the Hammers by midfielder Joe Cole.
A £15m deal is in place between West Ham and Liverpool for the England striker but Carroll himself has yet to agree to the move.
Reports earlier in the week claimed he wanted a return to Anfield to try and force his way into Brendan Rodgers’ side or to engineer a return to his former club Newcastle.
The striker netted seven goals in 24 appearances last season, a campaign which was blighted by injury, but former Liverpool man Cole is predicting he will hit 20 or 30 next season if he stays at Upton Park.
“We play to suit him. We play around him,” Cole said on Sky Sports.
“We try to get good quality balls into the box for him, and that is going to be valuable.
“If I was him, I’d be wanting to stay at West Ham. The lads love him and the fans have taken to him.
“If he keeps himself fit he can get 20 to 30 goals next season.”
