Reliable West Ham United club insider ExWHUemployee has issued a Twitter update on the future of manager Manuel Pellegrini following the club’s 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, and it isn’t good news for any fans that might want the Chilean out now.
The Irons now lie just one place outside of the Premier League relegation zone following their latest setback, which means they have lost nine of their 18 top flight fixtures this term.

The victory against Southampton previously looked to have given the 66-year-old a bit of respite, but now the pressure is firmly back on the former Manchester City boss.
Ex believes that as things stand, the veteran South American has the upcoming successive home matches against Leicester City and Bournemouth at the London Stadium to try and pick up some positive results – but of course things can change quickly in football.

The performance against the Eagles showed little sign that things are going to turn around under Pellegrini, in what was a largely pedestrian and slow showing from the visitors even if they did take the lead through Robert Snodgrass in south London.
Did he really play for us?! No West Ham fan has managed to name all of these obscure Irons signings….
It doesn’t look as though it will get any easier for the manager either, given the second-placed Foxes are in the capital on Saturday.
