West Ham fans have been on the edges of their seats for the past few weeks as reports of strikers signing for the club come and go on a daily basis.

The likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Carlos Tevez have whetted appetites in the east end of London, but moves for the duo seem to have fallen through, leading to serious interest in Carlos Bacca. But a even a switch for the 29-year-old Colombian, despite a fee having been agreed with AC Milan, appeared to be on the verge of collapse amid suggestions he’d turned them down.

However, there has been serious movement on this front in the last 12 hours, with Jack Sullivan, the son of club co-owner David Sullivan, having revealed that a deal for Bacca is in place, but that the player is taking 48 hours to assess his options.

This is interesting in it’s own right, but now the man himself himself has posted a cryptic image on Instagram…

The caption translates as: "We left, new goals, new dreams, new hopes, new season. Come on Carlos Bacca of your hand always my god."

VERY INTERESTING.

Furthermore, Bacca seems to be sat with his luggage. Is he flying to London? Perhaps…

As the stats show, he could be worth all the effort!
