West Ham United forward Marcus Browne is currently on loan at Oxford United.

Browne came through the youth system at West Ham, progressing through the academy at the club before signing his first professional contract in 2015.

The forward made his first-team debut for the Hammers in August 2016, but spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Wigan Athletic.

Browne then joined Oxford of League One on a season-long loan in July.

The 20-year-old has made a big impression with the U's, scoring six times in 19 appearances, including a brace against Rochdale in the league on Tuesday night.

Browne has shown his huge potential this season, and that was pointed out by a certain Rio Ferdinand on social media.

The Oxford fans responded by urging Ferdinand not to shout too loudly, with Browne being tipped for a big future at West Ham.
