Former West Ham United midfielder Jimmy Bullard has claimed that he would not be surprised if the team were beaten by struggling Everton on Wednesday night.

The Hammers currently sit in the relegation zone, just one point from safety after 13 games.

David Moyes replaced Slaven Bilic in the international break and is yet to pick up a win following one defeat and one draw.

Everton have their own predicament as they reside two points above the drop and reman without a permanent successor to Ronald Koeman, who was sacked over a month ago.

Under-23s coach David Unsworth is currently in temporary charge of the first team but he has had a torrid time, recording five defeats in seven games in all competitions.

Despite the Toffees losing 5-1 and 4-1 in their last two matches, Bullard thinks that West Ham could be on the losing end.

In his predictions for Bet Bright, the 39-year-old said:

"I’m not being funny, but if Everton were ever going to win a game, it would be against West Ham!!! We are absolutely tragic at the minute!! Whoever appointed Moyes ain’t got a clue… as a West Ham fan, I don’t like to say it, but I don’t see us beating them."
