Per Mirror Football, West Ham are considering selling their cohort of in-demand young talent in January to fund David Moyes’ plans for revamping a squad that finds itself stuck in the relegation zone after eleven games.
That includes the likes of Reece Oxford, Reece Burke, Josh Cullen, Domingos Quina and even Declan Rice – who forced his way into the starting XI towards the end of Slaven Bilic’s troubled tenure.
Considering how West Ham fan have always placed an emphasis on giving chances to young players, we asked Irons supporters earlier this week whether they’d back such a policy for the January window – also bearing in mind the threat of relegation.
But according to our poll, the vast majority of West Ham fans would be against selling the youngsters in the new year, with a whopping 93% voting against it.
It appears the club will have to find another source of funding if they’re to make significant changes to the squad in the next transfer window.
