Revealed: Majority of West Ham United fans want Diangana to step in for Yarmolenko

West Ham United’s winning run seems like a distant memory following the last couple of weeks.

After taking points from Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United, Manuel Pellegrini’s team were beaten 1-0 by Brighton before the international break.

Last weekend, the Hammers welcomed London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to their home turf, but ended up losing to a single goal from Erik Lamela.

To make matters worse, Andriy Yarmolenko suffered an Achilles injury that will keep him on the sidelines for six months.

With that in mind, we asked you who should replace the winger in the lineup.

Twenty-year-old Grady Diangana came on for Yarmolenko when he got injured and he could potentially be thrown into the first team in the coming matches.

Robert Snodgrass and Michail Antonio are other options in the coming months, but judging by the results, fans want Pellegrini to put faith in Diangana.

The youngster has only played 50 minutes of action, but the supporters polled are convinced that he can step in.
