Revealed: The four signings West Ham fans want to see at the London Stadium next season

After being involved in what looked like a relegation scrap for the majority of last season, West Ham eventually finished the season in 13th place.

Despite securing the club their place in the Premier League for the 2018/19 season, David Moyes left the Hammers after just six months in charge. New boss Manuel Pellegrini now has the task of improving the performances and the results of the East London side.

We asked West Ham fans in our poll what signings they would like to see the club make in this transfer window. Check out the top four here…

4. Jack Wilshere

The Arsenal man has announced that he will be leaving the club this summer after 17 years with the Gunners. With his quality, Wilshere could be a coup for a number of Premier League clubs if he is able to prove his fitness this summer.

The Hammers’ attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini is set to be sidelined until the new year with a knee injury so Wilshere could be the perfect option.

3. Alfie Mawson

The 24-year-old centre-back could well be looking for a move away from relegated Swansea this summer. Mawson played 44 games in all competitions for the Swans last season and even earned a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad in March. He is valued at €15m by Transfermarkt.

2. Ryan Fredericks (Already signed)

Someone at West Ham must have sneaked an advanced look at our poll as the Hammers have already completed the signing of Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer after his contract with Fulham ended this summer.

The pacy full-back starred for the Cottagers last season as they won promotion via the playoffs. Fredericks played 44 Championship matches during the campaign, creating nine assists in the process.

1. Leander Dendoncker

The player with the most votes in our poll was the Belgian defensive midfielder and centre-back Leander Dendoncker. The 23-year-old RSC Anderlecht star is valued at €17m by Transfermarkt and his stock is only set to rise following an impressive performance for his national side against England at the World Cup.

West Ham should move fast if they want to secure the versatile youngster who played 23 games at centre-back and 19 games in midfield for his club last season.
