Writing for football.london, Sam Inkersole has predicted that Manuel Pellegrini will put David Martin in goal when West Ham United face Chelsea.

What did he say?

FFC has suggested that Roberto is running out of chances in the Hammers' goal due to all of the mistakes he has been making, while Paul Robinson told Football Insider that the Spaniard should be dropped for his own good.

So far, Pellegrini has stuck with the 33-year-old since Lukasz Fabianski's injury, coming on as a substitute during the AFC Bournemouth match and playing all six games since.

Inkersole has suggested that this persistence could come to an end though, as he wrote on football.london: "We've picked David Martin in goal because, in our opinion, Pellegrini simply cannot stick with Roberto anymore after another error-strewn display against Spurs last time out. It's a risk but it can't be any worse."

Time for a change

Inkersole is correct, it is difficult to see how the goalkeeper situation can get much worse than it has been with Roberto, so it is time for a change.

The goalkeeper has cost the team numerous points, being beaten easily twice against Tottenham Hotspur, making two blatant mistakes against Burnley, looking suspect for Newcastle United's goals and making a plethora of other errors.

With this in mind, it feels unfathomable for him to stay between the sticks at London Stadium until Fabianski is back on the pitch.

Whether it is Martin or U23s goalkeeper Joseph Anang who comes into the team, Pellegrini simply must change it.

Enough is enough.

In other news, West Ham fans have been getting excited about a Lukasz Fabianski training video.
