Cardiff’s captain has been one of a very select few who has performed consistently well as the club has spiralled towards relegation. With Championship players tending to be overlooked by Hodgson when it comes to international selection, Caulker will likely be looking for a move away from the Welsh capital. Caulker would add youth and extra ability to West Ham’s defence, to partner the equally youthful James Tomkins.
