Three reasons Harry Arter would be West Ham’s best January signing
According to reports in The Mirror, new West Ham United manager David Moyes is ready to make a January move for Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter as he looks to strengthen his squad.
The Mirror says that the Scot has been given the green light to do whatever he feels is necessary with the side he inherited after being appointed on Tuesday, and that could include shipping out club-record buy Marko Arnautovic as well as targeting deals for Arter, William Carvalho and Lamine Kone.
The Irons are currently in the relegation zone after a disappointing start to the campaign, with heavy home defeats against newly-promoted Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool last weekend probably the low points.
However, the fact that Moyes is targeting Arter suggests that the club could be taking a step in the right direction, but he may face a battle to bring him to the London Stadium considering he only signed a new four-year deal with the Cherries in July.
