The Hammers are on the prowl for a new left-back following an injury to resident No.3 Aaron Cresswell, who could be stuck on the sidelines for the next four months.
The East London club have considered a number of additions, including Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs, Manchester United youngster Cameron-Borthwick Jackson, Hull City’s Andrew Robertson and the aforementioned Martin Olsson.
In fact, Slaven Bilic’s side saw a £3million bid for the Sweden international, who represented his country three times at Euro 2016, rejected by the Championship club earlier this week.
But according to The Daily Mail, the Irons have now returned with an improved offer of £4million in a bid to solve their left-back crisis.
And just £1million off the Canaries’ alleged valuation, it’s further claimed Olsson’s transfer to the Olympic Stadium could be wrapped up by the end of the week.
