West Ham United have been rocked by the news that Dimitri Payet wants to leave, and now it is becoming clear exactly what the club will lose.
Manager Slaven Bilic made it public in his weekly press conference, revealing that the Frenchman has refused to play again for the Hammers.
There were always rumblings that the 29-year-old could be touted by rival clubs following his impressive debut season at the East London outfit.
The playmaker scored nine goals and bagged 12 assists in 30 Premier League appearances.
His attacking prowess has been there for all to see, and now Squawka has revealed that Payet’s creativity has been a dominant force across Europe.
The former Marseille man has created more chances than any other player in the top five European leagues since his arrival at West Ham in 2015.

The East London outfit sit 13th in the standings and have struggled for firepower this season, scoring just 23 goals in 20 top-flight matches.
Payet has not been as prolific in this campaign, nabbing two goals and creating six others, but the statistics show that he would be a huge miss for the Hammers.
