Wanted West Ham man to hand club massive boost

West Ham midfielder Reece Oxford is ready to hand the club a huge boost and sign a new deal in East London, according to the Sun.

Having emerged as one of the most exciting talents in English football last season, the 17-year-old had been touted as a potential target for both Manchester powerhouses.

Still, the report claims the talented teen is ready to commit his future to the Hammers, where he has progressed through the academy.

Making seven first-team appearances, the England under-19 international is ” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>understood to have undergone lengthy negotiations with the Irons.

While no agreement has been signed off, it is believed he will see an increase in his basic wage and a series of performance-based incentives.

Oxford hit headlines on the first day of last season when he bossed the midfield away at Arsenal, marking the likes of Mesut Ozil out of the game at the Emirates.

“There is no agreement confirm with Oxford, but there is no issues”, a club source is quoted as saying.

“His basic wage will increase along with clauses for appearances and England call-ups and the like.
