Having joined West Ham in the summer of 2018, Carlos Sanchez has not exactly enjoyed the greatest of times in London. The Colombia international has played just 16 times in total since making the move to the Premier League side, whilst his football this season has been incredibly limited too - prior to the clash against West Brom, he only had 293 minutes of first-team action under his belt.So having been given the chance to make a rare appearance against the Championship side in the FA Cup fourth round, Sanchez would no doubt have been hoping to make a very strong impression.

A few fans couldn't quite believe how Sanchez is considered a professional footballer, with one supporter in particular claiming that he is "stealing a living".

Another couple of West Ham fans insisted that they never want to see Sanchez put on the Hammers shirt again, and claimed they would much rather see a youngster play instead - Conor Coventry being one named that was mentioned.

It is difficult to see how Sanchez can have a long-term career with West Ham. The 33-year-old has barely played under either Manuel Pellegrini or Moyes, and judging by the very strong reaction of Hammers fans on social media, he may just be better off making a move away.
