West Ham are keeping tabs on Roma forward Seydou Doumbia, according to the Daily Star.
The Ivorian striker, currently on loan at CSKA Moscow, is said to be interesting the Hammers after his return to form in Russia.
He scored against Manchester United last month when the two sides met in the Champions League.
The 27-year old moved to Italy in January after five years in the Russian capital, though was unable to replicate his form in Serie A.
He netted just twice in thirteen appearances for the Rome outfit, before returning to his former club on loan back in August.
The Hornets are understood to have been close to a deal in the summer before talks broke down.
Reports suggest that Doumbia is happy back in Russia, though his hand could be forced should Roma be willing to do a deal on a permanent basis.
