West Ham United defender Pablo Zabaleta has revealed that his team are looking forward to the rest of the season under the management of David Moyes.

Moyes replaced Slaven Bilic as head coach of the Hammers last week, and the Scot's first game in charge will be against Watford in the Premier League this weekend.

Zabaleta has said that the players not on international duty have 'been working really well over the last few days', and the Argentine has also insisted that the gloom from the latter stages of the Bilic era has disappeared.

Moyes has a tough task at the London Stadium as he takes charge of a team that are down in 18th position in the Premier League table after a tough start to the 2017-18 campaign.

Zabaleta told West Ham's official website:

“Trainings been pretty good. We’ve been working really well over the past few days.

“It is time to be positive and look forward to the season. There’s a long way to go and everything depends on us which is good."

West Ham are currently on a four-game winless run in the Premier League, and suffered a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in their final game before the international break.

After tackling Watford on Sunday, Moyes' first home game in charge of the Hammers will be against Leicester City next Friday night.
