West Ham have joined the race to land Leeds youngster Sam Byram, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The versatile Elland Road academy graduate has rejected a new deal with the Championship club and is entering the final six months of his deal.
Able to operate as either a right-back, or a right midfielder, the 22-year old has emerged as one of the highly rated talents outside the top tier.
Now, the Hammers could be set to make a cut price move for the youngster this month as they look to bring him to East London.
He has previously been linked with the likes of Liverpool, there appears to be a queue emerging for the player should he leave the Yorkshire giants before the end of the season.
Current right-back Carl Jenkinson has failed to replicate the form he showed last season and is widely expected to return to parent club Arsenal after his loan deal expires.
