West Ham United are considering a summer move to reinforce their squad with Paris Saint-Germain’s Gregory van der Wiel, according to The West Ham Way.
The 28-year-old will have played out his contract with PSG at the end of the current campaign, a factor that could see him join on a free transfer.
Manager Slaven Bilic is keen to reinforce his right-back position given that he doesn’t have many natural options for the mentioned role.
Winger Michail Antonio and centre-back James Tomkins has been used in the position this season, with January signing Sam Byram also being given some game time as he continues to develop.
The PSG star has struggled for game time this term, starting only 15 Ligue 1 matches for his side, so far scoring two goals while providing another three assists.
However, his spell in Paris has been littered with trophies, including four French titles.
