West Ham fans are finding it hard to contain their excitement, after reports claimed they have agreed a fee with Lazio for Felipe Anderson.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham and Lazio have finally agreed a fee for Anderson in the region of £26m.

Sky claim the Italian club have agreed to part ways with their Brazilian wing wizard, but will take 20 per cent of any future sale. Anderson is happy to make the move, and personal terms are “close to being agreed” at £80,000 a week.

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is expected to fly to London this week to complete the deal, in what would be a massive statement of intent from the Hammers.

Manuel Pellegrini will be desperate to get a big name attacker in to replace some of the spark lost by the injury to Manuel Lanzini, and Anderson managed three goals and seven assists in Serie A last season despite missing time through injury.

The Brazilian winger will bring pace, flair and creativity to the Hammers’ attack, and if Pellegrini can get him firing alongside Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez it could be really special.
