West Ham fans are praying the latest transfer links come true, as Portuguese reports claim the Hammers could swoop for Yacine Brahimi.
According to A Bola, Manuel Pellegrini is eyeing up a move for Porto winger Brahimi this summer, and the Hammers are long-term admirers of the Algerian international.
The club have been chasing a deal for Felipe Anderson for quite some time now, but Brahimi could be a cheaper alternative to replace some of the flair lost by the injury to Manuel Lanzini, and the report claims €30m (about £26.4m) should be enough to get a deal done.
The 28 year-old winger, who has 11 goals in 41 Algeria caps, averaged over five dribbles per game this season, and would get fans off their seats week in week out at the London Stadium.
Pellegrini wants to bring exciting, attacking football back to East London, and signing Brahimi would certainly be an excellent start.
Fans are absolutely loving the links, but they suspect it might be too good to be true. You can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…

This is getting me excited even though more than half of these tumors won’t actually be our players next season

4231 with Arnautovic up top with Brahimi, Lanzini and Anderson as the attacking mids is something i want to see. https://t.co/3aCob1S0iu
